To accommodate live broadcasts, remote collaboration and social distancing, EAR installed system wide upgrades to the existing broadcast center and hearing rooms. A single operator can remotely manage multiple HD cameras, microphones, AV presentations and remote video conferencing.
The Arizona capitol complex includes state senate and house hearing rooms, chambers, remote member participation and broadcast center. The complex spans several buildings connected via a high-speed fiber network.

All audio, video, lighting, AV high-speed-network , hearing loop, Zoom hybrid hearing rooms and voting systems are controlled by Crestron automation, designed, installed and managed by EAR.
With the challenges of Covid and social distancing, in 2021 the legislature session required support for member participation from off-site. EAR was contracted to upgrade and configure hearing rooms and chambers with hybrid capabilities using the Zoom video conferencing platform.
A key requirement was to allow members offsite and onsite to hear and see each other with minimal delay for optimal interactivity. The existing Crestron controlled systems and broadcast center equipment were modified to allow the remote members to collaborate while also appearing on the public broadcast of meetings.
The right technology can help greatly during challenging times. EAR can provide a free and quick analysis for most production and hearing room applications. We specialize in bringing broadcast quality collaboration to a changing world. Call 800-473-6914 or email us today!
