What’s in a name? In 1989 Avid Technology released the video editing software Media Composer on the Macintosh II as an offline editing system. It was around this time that EAR changed it’s name from EAR Audio, to EAR Professional Audio Video. Since this monumental move in the late 1980s EAR has provided Professional Video products throughout the Southwest to thousands of clients. Carrying the nations largest brands in professional cinematography, lighting, software and video editing technology EAR is heavily centered in the broadcast and media production industry.
