Recent Projects: Musical Instrument Museum – Live Streaming & Archiving
The Musical Instrument Museum (MIM.org) hosts and records over 300 live concerts per year, as many of the performances have special importance to the world of music, capturing in flawless digital audio and 4k UHD video was of prime importance. The new live recording system allows the museum to create digital archives of concert performances that can be enjoyed by music enthusiasts and researchers for years to come.
EAR Professional Audio Video was asked to provide the latest generation of 4k video and digital audio equipment, including design and integration services. The upgrades include state-of-the-art 12g SDI fiber infrastructure, live streaming, archiving and automated workflows allowing the museum to capture every detail of each performance, producing stunningly clear and immersive recordings.
