The story
2019 to 2021: growth. As live remote production took off, EAR Professional Audio Video became a source for LiveU across the country, supplying field encoders, receive servers, data plans and rentals. 2021 was the busiest year. That spring the Saint Louis Chess Club bought an LU800 and an LU2000 rack-mount receive server through EAR Professional Audio Video, after a demo unit, and has added LU800 PRO4 multi-camera licenses since. In Phoenix, Crew West, a broadcast crew company serving news and sports clients, added an LU600 for work including MLB spring training coverage, with an EAR loaner LU800 bridging the gap until the new unit arrived. Crew West has rented additional LU800 units for busy days since, and in April 2026 its LU600 carried a live shot for ESPN’s Warriors at Suns coverage.
2022 to 2023: steady. EAR Professional Audio Video supplied Ocean Video with an LU800 and LiveU DataBridge connectivity for on-set video work on a Disney production in 2022. Day rentals, data plans and annual support renewals kept repeat customers on the air.
2024 onward: multi-camera and the cloud. The work shifted toward LU800 PRO4 multi-camera systems, on-demand daily licenses and EAR-hosted cloud receive servers for repeat public-sector and broadcast clients. The Arizona Department of Public Safety tested an LU800 in 2024, bought an LU300S 5G unit in 2025, and in 2026 streamed agency events through EAR-hosted Full HD cloud channels. EAR Professional Audio Video also hosts cloud channels for the City of Chandler and the City of Goodyear.
